On Friday 20 December, we invited the six iEMFC graduates to a celebration at Maastricht University, but unfortunately Jeroen Ruiter (ECCO) was unable to come. The (i)EMFC graduates received their well-earned certificate from Prof.dr. Harold Hassink RA, Managing Director of iEMFC. Of course, there was a nice personal photo moment for all the graduates.
So good to see that the proud families of these winners were also attending this important ceremony; traveling from far was no problem.
Compared to other years, a lot of iEMFC course coordinators and teachers also came to Maastricht. Two (i)EMFC student representatives shared their stories and a nice presentation and anecdotes with the audience. In addition, Hans van Geloven, chairman of the Supervisory Board, was present and he -again and for the last time- spoke a few special words to the new graduates. Hans stepped down, after so many years of special commitment to the iEMFC program. For sure, the program has grown because of his leadership qualities. We all wish him lots of success for the future!
And after 1.5 hours it was time to raise a glass of champagne for the Christmas season, the New Year and new challenges!
