Having the right working environment is decisive for your own effectiveness as a professional and for the success and well-being of your organisation. Changing landscapes in times of crises – such as the current pandemic – require you to adapt your role in the organisation and develop the right skills and competences to remain successful.
This programme has been designed to equip HR advisors and people leaders with a three-dimensional ‘business partner’ perspective that helps them navigate big organisational challenges such as restructuring and creating a future-proof workforce.
The context and environment in which you work as an HR or leading professional is decisive for your effectiveness and your organisation’s success and well-being. Especially in a (post) crisis period, like COVID-19, it is very important to use the right skills and competences to remain successful.
Organisations are particularly focused on staying in the black numbers on the short term. On the long run, the main focus is on converting the human and tangible resources towards a successful business strategy which strengthens the company’s position in changing and unpredictable times. What should or could you contribute as a people leader or HR professional?
The continuous dynamics in crisis times may require to play a new and different role in your organization. This online programme focuses on 3 perspectives that will help you move forward: Environment & Organisation, Being a Business Partner and Leadership & Behaviour.
You will build a holistic and innovative view on (post-)crisis challenges
You will acquire new insights on strategic human resource management
You will advance your perspective on learning and leadership development

Programme overview
The continuous dynamics in crisis times may urge you to play a new and different role in your organisation. In three learning episodes, we focus on three dimensions to help you move forward. You can choose to sign up for the three blocks all together or make a choice for either one or two blocks. Each block consists of 3 or 4 two-hour sessions.
Our approach
All sessions have a highly interactive character. You will reflect on and work with your specific cases in a very practice-oriented workshop format. Expect to be part of discussions with peer participants from various sectors. You will be exchanging thoughts, experiences and validating insights with our faculty and other ‘students’. Hence, we ask you to be willing to share your challenges and be part of the learning process of the group.
The programme consists of 10 online sessions in 3 theme blocks.

The online sessions take place in the afternoon, so you can tune in from your home or work office to your convenience. We do not want to take much more of your time outside the online sessions; an occasional preparation or home work will be limited in time effort. Simply log into the learning environment, to which you will get access being subscribed as UM student.
