What if the greatest risk isn’t uncertainty itself, but the belief that we already understand everything?

Philip Vergauwen offers a fresh perspective on leadership and strategy in a constantly changing world. You will discover how organisations and individuals can remain resilient, make smart decisions in complex situations, and create value in a meaningful way. Through engaging real-world examples and practical insights, he demonstrates how agility, sustainable thinking, and continuous learning are essential for staying successful and future-proof.

Please note: this session will be delivered in English.

How can you ensure that strategy, implementation, and execution reinforce each other instead of working at cross purposes? In this session, you will gain insight into the three essential elements and how they interconnect. Using the Playing to Win framework and five guiding questions, we bring structure to this interplay.

We will also focus on ownership: how does responsibility shift from the organisation to teams and individuals? And what role does the strategic dialogue play in this process?

Led by Boris Blumberg, you will gain clear insights and practical thinking frameworks in a short time: tools that will immediately change how you view strategy and execution, and help you turn strategy into real action.

Please note: this session will be delivered in Dutch.

In an environment where pressure, complexity, and societal expectations converge, personal and authentic leadership, resilience, and genuine connection take centre stage.

In this session, we explore how you, as a leader, can stay on course, remain agile, and maintain connection with others, whether within your team, with colleagues, or in a broader societal context.

Drawing on concrete experiences from a leadership role within the public sector, Wil Rutten shares and discusses recognisable situations and dilemmas: real-world examples that invite reflection and exchange!

Please note: this session will be delivered in English.

Is psychological safety at odds with high performance, or essential for it? In this interactive session, we challenge common leadership assumptions and explore how the best leaders create environments that are both demanding and safe.

You will discover how subtle leadership behaviours shape whether people speak up, challenge ideas, and contribute fully. You’ll leave with concrete tools to foster a culture of ‘safe to speak and expected to contribute’, and a fresh perspective on what effective leadership really requires.

Please note: this session will be delivered in Dutch.

What does good supervision look like in practice, and what challenges do supervisors face?

In this session, you will explore the roles and responsibilities of the Supervisory Board (Raad van Toezicht, RvT) and the Board of Commissioners (Raad van Commissarissen, RvC) together with Leo Urlings. What does good governance actually mean in practice? What exactly do you supervise, and what tensions can arise between different roles?

We will reflect on the relationship with the managing director, whether the RvT/RvC should function as a team, and what integrated responsibility entails when interests, perspectives, and responsibilities intersect.

Using real-world cases, we translate these themes into recognisable situations and dilemmas, providing insights and practical tools to help you fulfil your role as a supervisor more sharply and effectively.
