IMPACT: from insight to lasting change
At UMIO, we believe that learning only has real value when it contributes to sustainable change: in people, in teams and within the organisation. That is why we use the IMPACT model: a structured approach in six phases that ensures development with visible and lasting impact. This model helps us to be focused from start to finish on the impact we want to realise, at individual, organisational and societal level.
IMPACT stands for:
I – Inspect: We first listen carefully. In this first phase, we take the time to really get to know your organisation, people and context. What is going on? Where are the challenges? What dynamics determine behaviour and choices?
M – Measure: we measure the real learning needs. Together, we examine the development questions in the light of your strategic objectives. We use interviews, scans and existing data to get a clear picture.
P – Plan: We design a customised learning programme. In co-creation, we build a programme that matches your issues, ambition and culture. We combine insights from the organisation with our expertise in learning design and behavioural change.
A – Act: We implement the programme with powerful learning interventions. Implementation is active, personal and hands-on. We work with a mix of working methods. From master classes to coaching, from intervision to action learning projects, tailored to the learning objectives and the work.
C – Complete: We translate insights into action in the workplace. Learning does not stop at the last session. We ensure concrete translation of insights into behaviour and work situations, so that what has been learnt works in practice.
T – Test: We evaluate and reinforce the impact. We conclude with a joint reflection: what has been learned, changed and anchored? Via feedback loops and follow-up actions, we ensure that the results stick and the learning has a lasting effect.
