Each crisis has winners and losers. What sets them apart is empathy, adaptibility, speed of change and good leadership.

Crises are shifts with fundamental impacts on society and business. It comes with restrictions and risks, and with new opportunities. During and after a recession there may be new customer needs, less competition, readily available and cheaper talent pool, facilities, and acquisitions options. Times of crisis is the time to accelerate changes and a time to identify and grasp new opportunities. In fact it may be now or never.

Learning objectives

In this fast-paced, strategic sprint our experts will guide you to develop an agile strategy that will help you to respond in best way to the current crisis. In turbulent times our current thinking framework does not work anymore. There a great risk of making wrong conclusions based on knowledge that we have in front of us since our cognitive bias is based on the past.

In this training track we want to engage and align your (executive) management and will help you to design a winning strategy within 4 weeks so you can exit this crises in the most viable way possible.

Understanding the playing field

Learn how to build ánd maintain the right knowledge base to develop a future-proof strategy, by diving deep into your organisation’s core goals, but also by empathizing with your customers and the context you are operating in. Understanding the changing playing field.

Defining growth arenas

Learn how to identify the windows of opportunity from this crisis, how to assess the risks and how to prioritize the right growth arena’s for your company. Learn how to translate these opportunities into a solid, future-proof strategy step-by-step.

Building a progressive enterprise

Learn how to engage your employees and to build conditions for a proactive, forward-looking, agile culture throughout your whole organization. Learn how to become a progressive enterprise,that can thrive in times of crises because of its agility. Embracing a culture of experimentation and entrepreneurship. In addition, learn how to create an actionable roadmap to accelerate implementation of new strategies.

This track is designed to help you move forward with your organisational case, challenge or ambition. In a personal intake before the track starts, your challenge will be framed together with one of our experts, the focus will be defined. In the track you will then apply all learnings to your case and get personal coaching. Immediate impact and acceleration of the next level of your team, unit or organization is guaranteed. Therefore we suggest to subscribe with at least two persons from one organization.

What we’ll cover

In this fast-paced, strategic sprint our experts will guide you to develop an agile strategy because you want to respond in the best way to the crisis. As a leader, you need to guide your people through these uncertain times. However, the thinking framework that we were used to, does not work anymore. There is a great risk of making wrong conclusions based on evidence, assumptions, and propositions are based on the past. Strategic planning will be guided, accelerated, and results-oriented. Engaging and aligning (executive) management in this active training. It will help you to design a winning strategy within 4 weeks and make your way through this crisis in the most viable way possible. Moreover, you will transform your company into a future-ready business.

The track consists of 3 elements:

Element 1| 3 hours per week: Self-paced online learning

In our online learning platform you get access to the course material. Here you will have access to several videos, specifically recorded for the module. These videos you will need to watch before the start of each training topic. In addition you will get access to reading material specifically selected for the module and you will get assignments to perform before the start of the online sessions.

Element 2 | 2 x 1,5 hours per week: Online session

You will log in into our weekly online training sessions via zoom where you will meet up with the innovation trainer and the other participants. Our online sessions will focus on applying theory to practice in your team. You will be actively coached by the innovation trainer and will learn from the experience of other participants in the course.

In each online session also time will be reserved for Questions & Answers and reflection on the week

Element 3 | 1 hour per week: personal coaching

Each participant is entitled to one hour of 1 on 1 coaching per week.

  • A basic innovation strategy and plan.
  • Working on your own strategy at speed, and minimizing the failure rate
  • Hacks to build the culture you need to innovate successfully
    You learn how to facilitate a multi-disciplinary strategy design process.
  • How a design sprint has a positive contribution to uplifting people’s engagement, productivity, and building agility

This track is designed for experienced managers who are on their way to become innovation leaders instead of followers of innovation. You typically have at least 5 years of experience in a management role.
